bah.
I waited all of September for my iPhone to come to me from the states. Today I got it, and spent 5 hours trying to unlock it.
No show. Why? Well, it’s kinda DOA (Dead on arrival). Yeah, I was gutted.
It simply keeps showing the Apple logo and not doing anything, and for that I can’t write much of a post.
I have managed to get it to the activation screen every once in a while:
But it usually just looks like this:

*sigh* $50 to send it back to the US, to have it replaced, to get it back at the end of October. I hope it fixes itself overnight
I did manage to get it all activated and connected to my WiFi once, but that was short-lived before it went back to it’s old habits.
Short little post but I’ve moved my blog to www.peppery.org/blog www.peppery.net.nz. The old URL should redirect to this one and the RSS feed will stay the same. Hopefully I can now focus on publishing some decent content
clicky clicky:

it arrives in new zealand on the 30th, can’t wait to get my hands on this thing! =D
One of the reasons I don’t keep a blog for very long is that I get bored of my writing after a while and just stop, which is what I’ve always done, and hate that.
So anyway, I’m undecided on what I should do with this one. Wipe it and start over? Maybe. *sigh*
Anyway, this week I’m down in Whakatane staying with family until next wednesday, in which I’ll make my way back up to the Auckland to do nothing for the next two weeks.
P.S: Dialup is driving me crazy, especially with the SSH lag. Grr.
